flava-it™ Marinade Recipes
Hot And Spicy Pork Kebabs with Spiced Pineapple Rings
Ingredients
- 1 Packet of flava-it Hot & Spicy Marinade
- 750g (1lb 10oz) Pork Tenderloin or Pork Leg Steaks, cubed -
- allow 4 pieces per kebab and 2 kebabs per person
- 4 Mini Corn on the Cobs (not baby cobs) frozen or fresh (cooked for 10 minutes if using fresh)
- 1 Red Onion peeled and cut into thick wedges lengthwise
- 227g (8oz) Tin Pineapple Rings - 4 rings
- 8 wooden skewers that have been soaked in water for 1 hour prior to use.
Method
1. Drain pineapple rings and place on a plate, sprinkle with 2 teaspoons flava-it™ Hot and Spicy Marinade.
2. Place the remainder flava-it™ Hot & Spicy Marinade into a large plastic bag, add the cubed pork and toss to coat the cubes, leave for at least 5 minutes.
3. Cut cobs in half or thirds, thread kebabs alternately with meat, cobs and onion.
4. Cook on a BBQ or place under a hot grill for 10 - 15 minutes, turning to allow all sides to cook evenly. Place pineapple rings on the BBQ or grill 5 minutes before serving kebabs.
5. Serve with rice and a green salad or Caribbean Tobago Rice.
